Its quite simple. Nissan has developed a new Forced Induction system for the 370Z. Human powered forced induction is vented from the cabin into the engine bay. If the PSI gets too high the windows automatically roll down acting as a blow off valve. I think you'll find that the car normally runs at about 7 lbs of boost and since you had 10 lbs of "boost" you simply hit the limit of the blow off valve and activated it. No one has asked the question yet because no one was able to get the boost up over the 7 lbs mark..... congrats. Oh and you might want to keep a roll of TP in the car if you are playing with the boost incase you have some blow by....
