No need to remove the wiper arms. Just pull the blades/arms away from the windshield to make a little extra room.

It may help to check some of the SLU fuse removal DIYs - the IPDM-E/R, where the fuse is located, is right next to the battery. You have to remove the same parts to get to the SLU fuse and the battery.

You will have to reset your radio presets and the windows when you get done. Procedures are on this site.
