How do you know what will be better or worse in 2015/2016? How many TTv6's do you see in the $40k range? If it's a V8? It will probably be in the $36k range...
Right now, hyundai's only "Real Sports Car Problem" is that they have to improve transmission performance/reliabily, needs more chassis rigidity (though more rigid than the E46) and add a little more quality to the suspension.

1. Up until 1988. Nissan was a shyt car and the Z was a cult car. Not a widespread legend in the american community.
2. Honda didn't get their first legs of respect till 1984/1985
3. Mazda 1987
3. Toyota 1982

Hyundai first set foot in the U.S. in 1985. Most of these other cars had been in the U.S. since the late 50's/60's depending on company. It took up to 30 years to earn there respect stripes.
Hyundai has been winning awards over the last 5 years consistently. Gencoupe is a first attempt sports car and they're about 3 improvement areas away from being an equal competitor...
It's still a hyundai? lol. So what's a Nissan??? It's no porsche no matter how close the stats are or were... If you don't like Hyundai as a car company. KEWL, more power to you. But at least come with a Constructive/Factual reason over the "Status quo- wanna-be classist remark of it's still a hyundai" While driving a sub-premium nissan.
