Question At a red light - someone lightly rolls into the back of my 370

So we both pull over into a parking lot, I get out, and inspect.........nothing, no damage, nada. Sorta surprised given how it sounded.

However, I was thinking about these sliders(compression sliders/shock absorbers) that are underneath the car, that allow leeway(sp?) and flexibility for the bumper. If it turns out that they were pushed in a little bit, do those have to be replaced? The person lightly rolled into the back of my car, .5 to 1mph, they admitted their brakes were faulty...

I have the individuals phone #, license plate, and name. Just in case.
