Why the juke is the most exciting car in nissans line up and why others don't cut it.
1. The Juke offers manual and an aggressive CVT on a 4 banger. The Altima, The cvt is only aggressive on the v6, which makes the 4 banger basically a semi-dull commuter.
2. Nismo juke offers an advanced all wheel drive system thats in the GT-R for $23k
3. An RS model is coming coon as well with OVER 200hp.
4. The juke has met and exceeded general expectations since its release. updates have been meaningful, as well as research for the car.
5. Not too expensive and easy to mod by comparison.
7. It's an original and everything coming after it is just a copy.
Altima.
1.Its the newest family sedan out and lost in quality and performance to the older Kia optima.
2. It has been grouped as the bottom barrel family car with the sonata.
3. Accord, Optima, Camry, and even the Malibu are considered more entertaining and functional cars
4. Styling is the weakest of the bunch right now, very neutral.
Pathfinder
1. Looks like a fvcking minivan.
2. Wont be able to do much off the beaten path. Its an urban commuter now. It should have been a jeep cherokee rival.
Sentra.
1. Where's the SE-R spec-V?????????????????????????
2. If they do come out with an SE-R spec V? I will fall asleep on sentra styling.
3.That thing drives like its sleeping. Commuters don't have to be boring. (mazda 3, VW Golf)
Maxima...
1.No manual option???
2. Seriously yo, No manual option. wtf???
3. They should have been working on weight reduction over time
4. in 2012, it should have gotten a version of the G35 5AT instead of keeping with CVT
GT-R
1. The GT-R is amazing! It gets upgrades every year.
2. It is an excellent value for the money
3. It's the best awd sports car on the market right now
4.Track edition coming out. CARGASM!!!
Downsides.
1.It's $100,000 to start
2. The price doesn't maker it accessible to most
Then comes our beloved Z.
Let me say first. the 35th anniversary 350Z had a power upgrade. 06 had a power upgrade... The 2007 Z had an upgraded engine with even more power. The color palette for 350z was amazing. Interior features and options were comparable to other cars of the time in price range etc... Body and interior updates to the old z were respectable.
Our current Z
1.Should have gotten the oil cooler in 09 and a half with brake cooler hoses.
2.When the genesis coupe had that big azz sound system in there 2010 gc's in the $27000 range. The non nav bose should have become standard with bluetooth, ipod and usb in the 2010 model year. The 40th should have had at least a more aggressive tune...
3. 2011 Should have focused on weight reduction and modernizing the nav unit to compete with comparably priced cars. (also for weight reduction)
4.2012 base Z's should have gotten 345/350hp and the Nismo 360/370hp
5. 2013 Body changes were completely unnecessary for the Non-Nismo Car. Wasted money.
6. 2014 Nismo should be getting a stronger interior update and more weight reduction. Regular Z's 2014 should be getting new leather interior styles and two tone cloth seat options for base+sport
7. We should have had more aggressive exhaust options at lower prices from Nismo as well as better priced in-house intake options. Nismo has been too weak for the Z aftermarket.
If the Z just got the attention it deserved from year to year, this car would sell. Nissan has created an excellent sports car platform and treated it like a red-headed stepchild clepto with A.D.D.
Once the car debuted they sectioned off the engineers. They Definitely gave all the overachieving engineers to the GT-R and the rejects to the Z. As one progresses, the other side fails.
The Evo, Z and WRX are the last of the exciting imports. For those of you who think its fun to be nimble while crawling like a turtle? You can throw in the BRZ/FRS & miata. But I'm talking about fun FAST sports cars for an affordable price
Nissan... i hope you're coming into forums??? They're probably not though cuz if they were? they wouldn't have the lineup looking the way it does now.
