sounds exciting on the car setup. do you now use brushless motors and lipo? i have no idea wat kids use. i still have nicad 2000mAh and my regular 27, 19, 13, 9 turn motors. among other armatures and brushes.
i should at least get a car going so that i can use it up, huh? hahaha.

Mr.kenchan... I really want to see your face/expression at that moment..!!
The electronics are a total different story nowadays compares to the old days, and I was
The battery pack, they are using Lipo and the capacity is 5000mah to 6500mah
No conditioning required basically it's good to go.
Motor are all brushless, they use different scales nowadays and the modified motors are getting as low as 3 to 5 turns...
Also, remember we have to adjust the timing on the modified motor in the old days?? Nowadays the ESC will do that work, and it will adjust the timing during the run... another
The radio, they have this new(well, new to me) features they called "Spectrum", which the radio will change the frequency whenever it detects a interference or glitch, thus no more need to carry or change the "band" or the "Crystal"
However, the Spectrum radio is a bit slower(well, maybe 0.00000X sec slower) than conventional since it scans&detect glitches during the race.
And ball-differential has been replaced by the gear-differential because the motors nowadays are too powerful for that..
But at the end, it still all go back to car setup and driving skills, the principle of chassis setup has not changed because it's based on law of physics, driving skills is all depends on the person.
Anyway, I was testing the car last night and during the 2nd and 3rd run I was thinking "Gosh... this feel good..!!"
