Ok, I will admit the first 3 installations of the fast and furious movies worked my nerves. Coming from a hood background and deep in the NYC import tuner scene of the 90's. These guys imho opinion were the biggest "Dorks" going and I felt like these movies were a mockery to the whole scene n lifestyle. IMHO, "the cars were the stars" and nothing else...
I'm older now, I'm not a hoodrat anymore but the import scene still draws my attention like a muffugga... lol And honestly, with the last two installations of the "fast movies", they weren't half bad. Storyline grew to something more substantial and the action was better choreographed. It made me go back and watch the 3 corny prequels again... Then suddenly, it dawned on me. These movies are just plain fun!!!! I stopped putting my cerebrum into the "fast series" and just let my testosterone take over... lol And these movies became great. These guys may not be the greatest actors BUT, all of us here have something in common with them. They make these movies because "they are true enthusiasts", They love making there own car stunts. And they get to drive a car or cars they don't normally get to.I have to say, this has further made me a fan.
Paul Walker had the chance to drive a Mine's JDM R35 V-spec in Japan. The GTR gets so many haters but one thing this car seems to prove to guys that actually drive it "For Real". Its a unique driving experience and more fun than some reviewers and anti-GT-R fanboy's make it out to be.
GT-R fans... check out this vid. look at his face. He isn't very eloquent but his face says it all. lol
