If your budget for wheels is $1K, you should not be in the market for wheels. In this case, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the factory wheels. Powder-coat them if you wish...nothing wrong with that if done tastefully. Figure that will run you $150/wheel when it's all said and done including removal and re-mounting/balancing of your existing tires.

LOL, no...the wheels in those pics he posted just might be
that cheap. They are likely sold as a set with tires you've never heard of for less than $1K. We're talking about low-end stuff here. Besides, I doubt they are even available in proper widths for the Z, as their target market is FWD cars which can only fit 8"-8.5" wheels. However, regardless of improper fitment, that usually doesn't stop kids who want some "sick lookin ryms fo they ride" from getting them anyway.
