Actually you, or your friend, are. What
exactly did he do to his car? Was this on a track? Street driving in the country? You come here talking about the car failing and Nissan voiding his warranty because he drove it a little hard. That is BS Nissan would do that, but if there are clear indications that the car went beyond its normal limits then you are driving in the <1% group and if you are doing it on the street then that is even worse.
So, what exactly happened to his car?
~High oil temps?
~Low oil pressure?
~Fuel starvation?
~Transmission failure?
~Something else?
