Default Olsbergs MSE Supercar Lites RallyCross car In-Car

Earlier in January I was lucky enough to get invited to go out and test Olsbergs MSE's new Supercar Lites purpose built rallycross car. It's quite a piece of machinery. Tube frame chassis, mid-engine, all-wheel-drive, 300+bhp longitudinal mounted 4cyl, 1000kg curb weight, full sequential gearbox, etc.

Took some in-car during some of my test laps. They had a basic course set up in a parking lot with cones. Mostly pavement but had a dirt switchback thrown in the mix. It was my first time driving a full sequential gearbox and it was brand new so it was a little tougher to engage the gears so it took some getting used to and I almost grabbed the hand brake once instead of the shifter . Once I got the hang of it I had more fun than I have had driving a car in a long time!

Some good tech info and photos of the car here...

Why this site blocks links from MotoIQ is beyond me as they are one of the best tech websites out there, but copy and paste replacing the [dot] with an actual .
