I was told that one particular Mustang had an apparent difference on the dyno that all the others....
And that The officials "learned something that they didnt know about" with the Astons.
They dynoed lots of cars at the test days...and not just the fast cars.. But multiple cars if the same make from different teams.
When tht dynoed us they dyno all 3 maps and take the ecu.
From everything I have heard.. The Roush car has a secret switch /button to switch maps as well as the Aston.
Both run factory ECU which gives them some advantage as Grand Am has to find what/ where that switch is.
If they found it...then whooooops .
Guess we shall see.
I can say this...the new race director isn't taking any crud and they mean buisness. Car to car avoidable contact is now a stop n go + 60 seconds.
In the 24 ...they were giving stop and go + 3:00 for pit lane speeding violations.
Crazy.
If we get a weight break we will most likely be allowed a carbon rear hatch and lexan rear window in the least.
