You live in California. I'm not sure what advice is even valid for your state. I do know this:

California state laws states that magazines must be made to permanently hold ten rounds, with permanent requiring a tool to render back into high capacity mags. The blocked magazines cannot be made to hold more than ten rounds without destroying the magazine in the process.
