Really, the only people that need CARB approved parts are people that live in the People's Republic of California. If you live anywhere outside of the Golden State, CARB is completely and totally irrelevant.

Thanks for the heads up, and to be honest I wish I knew more about the subject with emission laws. But, I will say this I don't want to come close to breaking any laws (local, state, or federal) with modding a car. I also do move around a bit with my job (who knows, some day I may move to Cali) and having something carb certified would make life way easier plus give me some legal peace of mind. If I had to guess I'm probably not the only person who doesn't live in California but still wants something carb certified or at the vary least 100% legal in the state the car is registered. Then again, maybe I am misinformed on the issue.
