Dealership just agreed to pay for scratching the hell out of my powdered wheel. Whew.
Sort of a funny story. The dealership initially said "well you can't prove that the damage wasn't there when you brought the car in". My mechanic and the powder guy took one look at the wheel and said, "The only way you could get a damage pattern like that is if the car itself was stationary while the wheel was spinning rapidly. The only time I've ever seen anything like this is during a tire balancing"
Dealership gets quiet at that point.
1 day later I get an email telling me that they're going to take care of me because I'm a good customer.
