Either they changed the rules, or I got popped by state boy (honestly don't remember) but on the citation I had the option to request a trial or a waiver hearing. Since I was guilty and I knew it, I requested the waiver hearing and I'm going to ask for PBJ. I haven't been ticketed since 2010 and I got PBJ then so my record's clean.

Its different now, when you check the guilty box on the ticket you admit fault and ask the judge to go light on you in court. The officer does not have to be present for that hearing.
