ms.bc- sorry to hear about your back. i recommend the mr.gurney back exercise. lay on floor, legs together, bend knee, then with your back and shoulders on the floor, move bent knee left/right till your knees hit the floor and hold for a few seconds. go left/right 10 times. i do this as part of my morning warm up and it's been great.
