Hrmm... I don't remember seeing that in the service manual. I have to take another look. I'll probably just do this the next time I have a chance since my research tells me it's a pretty easy DIY

The Nissan GREEN Coolant is a different product altogether than the Nissan BLUE Coolant. At the dealership, the green stuff is out on the shelf for sale, but the blue stuff he had to go to the back to get. The blue is supposed to be longer lasting. The manual (specifically pg 8-8) states that mixing the two will lower the life expectancy of the factory-filled blue fluid. Of course, if you aren't pushing the change interval, this shouldn't make any difference.
