Yep, no issues on mine either so far.
. My unit's ebrake line is also grounded but the system shows a warning screen when I run a DVD or switch to aux (not usb/ipod) so I wiredup a normally closed momentary sw. I just hit that and hit "ok" on the screen and it starts.
