Explain this? Not really able to visualize anything based on that?

There is an electrical plug in the hatch that plugs in to what I guess is the 3rd brake light that is an extremely loose fitting.. That's one of the places I'm going to investigate today. But other then that, I'm not sure.

I know it isn't my headliner as I've never heard anything from that part of the car.
