I want to do my strut tower brace, as well, but I'm not sure the color matched spray paint will survive the heat in the engine bay. Is there a clear finish I can put on it to protect the paint? Or can I have someone make up a color matched hi-temp resistant paint for that purpose?

Ken, is the LED covered at all? Do you have a finished pic of the effect it creates? I assume that your steering column isn't always exposed
