My experience (I have lots of experience) and available empirical data supports my claim that PSS > PZero. If anything because you can expect nearly double the longevity while maintaining better dry/wet performance.
Is Pirelli bad? Is the PZero bad? No. I never said that. I just said that they aren't the best (right now). The PZero was a great tire when I used it. It's just that the Super Sport is just that much better.

i agree with what you said.. especially that its a older tire.. and the reason for that is they didnt have a need to update it until now.. i dont agree with the vastly better.. the difference is marginal. and the average z driver would be hard pressed to tell the difference...
also i never said that the pirelli was better, i just said they are what i like and what i use on my car.. im on car #33 so i have tried and had experiance with many many different brands of tires.. i couldnt tell u the different compounds or the specific makeup of the tire. but i can tell you what ones handel well in the rain/snow/dry etc.. and what one wore fast..
tread wear is the worst part of a pirelli.. i have owned many sets of pzero, and they are expensive.. the main reason for their fast treadwear is the super sof make of the tire.. its a compromise with the makeup that they used in that tire.. they gave up tread life for grip/handeling..
