when you say 'two different coats of paint' are you referring to the factory two tone paint on the nismo wheels? i thought one could just sand them a little bit enough for primer to grab, prime it, then shoot the basecoat.
No they were repainted without any real prep and the paint was so thick the stampings were "washed out" by excess paint. If they had come with just the stock paint job, I probably would have tackled the job myself.
