Went and picked-up my rims this morning (more on that later), then headed into the office. Spent four hours with auditors working on numerous issues.

BTW - it was my day off!

Back to the rims - they are beautiful. The KAV paint (40th Z) looks awesome with the Gun Metallic. It's dark and about to rain, so pictures will need to wait until next weekend.

The drama continued with the botched brake work today. Final damage is four cross-threaded studs, and 13 rounded-off lug nuts! FML.

After two trips to the dealer today to have rounded-off lug nuts removed (don't ask), I've replaced all the lug nuts and am scheduled to have all the studs replaced next Saturday.

I'm going back to a stock set-up with no spacers. Don't want to deal with them anymore. One thing that was interesting when I took off my rims and put on the replacement rims from a friend - the spacers were seized onto the rims and the lug nuts wouldn't seat against the rim because of the extended studs. If I had a flat with one of my rear tires, the lugs wouldn't have seated on the studs for the 20mm spacers.

As it was, I just tightened the bad lugs until the stud popped through the top of the lug. I realize there are workarounds for this, but I'm done with spacers.

I hope everyone has a great weekend! Keep me laughing guys and out of the garage with the car running!
Damn man! I'm happy AND sad at the same time.

So let me ask this: I just got back from Chicago today. Do you still need those 10mm studs, or are you going a different route now?

Just let me know my friend.
