370Z 2011 VIN's after JN1AZ4EH(*)BM 551888 before JN1AZ4EH(*)BM 555448
2012 VIN's after JN1AZ4EH(*)CM 560001 before JN1AZ4EH(*)CM 560470

This would seem to infer that some 2012's have the steering lock installed. I've got and early 2011 with Rev E steering lock. I pulled the fuse.
Does anyone actually know what the reprogramming of the BCM listed in the TSB accomplishes? Does it unlock the steering lock permanently or what?
