Its funny... One time i was harassed on the forum for taking 8 test drives on 5 vehicles before i purchased my G. I was told i was wasting salesguys time. I went back twice on three. The Z, Camaro and genesis coupe 3.8... I ended up with a G37s because i had gotten an $7,000 cash back incentive on the G37s with invoice pricing. Couldn't beat that. 1 year n some later. I was in a 09 370Z. The Z performance kept calling me. The Gencoupe and G BOTH felt equally inferior to the Z as far as driving enjoyment. The other car I had tested was the mustang GT. At the time it was a 4.6, it was laughable compared to every other car on the list. Went back and tested the 5.0. The changes impressed me greatly, but not enough to not purchase a Z.
The only cars i can consider in-line with a Z right now (performance/fun-wise) is the Evo and 135i.

I just deviated from the point but... I'd rather test everything twice if i really like it. After I crashed the 09 Z, I was able to add the 5.0, Evo, Porsche Cayman(used) to the list. Test driving cars is the best research. It's crazy to think that someone would actually think i'm wasting salesguys time... lol. I look at it as making sure i spend approx. $40k wisely.
