Oh, and the A/C table just scales the fan speed with system pressure to override the coolant temp table if you're running the A/C, since it won't work without air being passed through the condenser.

And I don't think it's really that big of a deal either way, if you run the stock thermostat. The car won't even use the radiator until that starts to open at around 170 (fully open @ 187 on the North American cars).

As far as how it affects oil temp.. in most oil cooler setups, the fans can draw some air through the core, but it kinda depends on how the cooler is installed. Mine is flush against the front of the radiator/condenser, so the fans have a direct effect on how well the cooler works. Others have a sizable gap between them so the effect is less pronounced.

Coolant temp has little to no effect on engine oil temp after initial warmup, save for those with 2012+ cars equipped with the Water/Oil heat exchanger, the effects of which I can't comment on as I don't have it.
