Don't you think it's HIGHLY IGNORANT to think because one company took 40 years? The other company needs exactly 40 years to get it right??? The hunger for a proper sports car in the american market may make them take less time? Who knows until the next gen coupe comes out how much they can do in what time? Like Red said, The Z didnt get respect till the 300zx... and not the first gen, (that one was a joke.) The 1990 300zx changed the game for Nissan. The Rx7 turbo & turbo II, Supra and Celica were the 80's import tuners of choice.

You mention the GTR, but we couldn't tangibly prove it in the US till 2008.

"You guys are funny. Why don't you trade your z's and buy one? Feel free!"

So you're saying, because "Some of Us Believe"... "The Next Gen Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8"... May Possibly step up to a higher level, admittedly trying to battle BMW while we know for a fact many JDM cars are downsizing and downgradingand these are written facts!!! we can't observe these details and discuss them without wanting to be Gencoupe converts???

Does that make sense to you??? You can love or hate Hyundai, But don't let your emotions BLIND you from the facts. No one is calling the gencoupe a Z killer or better than the G other than calling it a winner as a better performance value over the cost of a new G. The Z isn't even really a topic of discussion in this thread unless making seriously minor comparisons.

Keep in mind this a thread about future generation cars, not one about Fanboy ranting.

Relax bro
