I know plenty of people that run E85 on other platforms with no idle issues.

If you can deal with the fuel consumption and fuel availability in your area, running E85 all the time can have its benefits, just more so in a boosted application. That said, most VQ guys have had good results with pump gas. It all depends on your wants/needs.

And if you were just going to throw it in for the drag strip, I'd rather get a race gas tune - you wont consume much at the track and it has a higher, more consistent octane rating (depending on which gas you choose). Even then, I personally wouldn't do it on an NA car. Now if you are purposely staying NA and aiming for the highest power you can get, then maybe.
