So, 7AM on the 24th they were removed. At 11AM, felt ok, went with my pops to Costco, had a hot dog. No real complaints. Chewed a lot, and the doctors said, as long as you can keep it down and it doesn't hurt too much, and it's not sharp food (like chips) eat whatever you want.
24th at night, ate whatever I wanted essentially, yes there was discomfort, but it didn't stop me from eating the roast, potatoes, or Mac n cheese, drank as much (liquid) as I could
25th, a but more pain, but nothing liquid lortab couldn't help with... Ate a nice big plate of teriyaki chicken, plenty of fluids... Pain became a bit worse, radiated to my ears a bit... Had more lortab, crap load of Popsicles... Cool, ate some dinner, no real issues
26th, today, woke up in a bit more pain, (sleeping with my mouth open, which causes the throat to be dry) got up, did some stuff, had another Costco hot dog, no problems really, got home, ate some more, and half way through, I called it quits... The pain was REALLY kicking in, hurt like a SOB to swallow
Popsicles ain't helping much... Ice pack isn't helping much...
AND I just finished my bottle of pain killers...
So I call out to anyone who KNOWS, what should I do???
I get a lot of BS info online like no ice cream, then you get another report saying the Mayo Clinic says dairy has nothing to do with mucus build up...
Right now I'm slowly but surely eating some ramen...
Thanks a lot in advance guys for any info!
