It's an active-safety feature prevent the vehicle from losing control.... don't understand why people will say it's not safe....

Next we should tell people: "dude... you better unplug the airbag cos what it only does is to smack your face when you crash..!!"
i dont bash vdc, but i too dont use it most of the time. reason being, i know how my car spins so having that on makes me actually lose control vs gain control, especially in very slippery conditions.

i didnt use vdc in the snow at all when i drove my G in the snow with LM60's. i had zero problems in deep snow. i had more issues with vdc on. with rwd, i steer my car with the throttle often.

unless im having problems keeping the car to go straight in super slick conditions even with snow tires, i dont use vdc.

most of the time it's the poor tire choice people make for the weather/season and just lack of experience and maturity. what i really dont get are people that buy expensive wheels and mod suspension then settle on some shitty tires.. then crash. then blame it on vdc-off. it's not the car, it's you.
