If you actually have road time behind a brz then contribute to this thread in a more meaningful way. Too many people paper racing like the guy 2 posts above that hasn't even been behind the wheel of one.
I have test drove one. My local dealer has like 5 just sitting there. They are no where near as fun as the Z. Maybe if I had never driven a RWD car, and that is a big maybe. You want a fun fast gocart experience ride in my integra I have built, it even has basic bolt-ons for the motor, cant speak for the lack of work under the car, but in a straight line I still think its 150whp non-vtec will even outrun it. It even has wider tires than that car Lol. I bought a RWD for the sole purpose of being able to run the back out with just a light press of the throttle, not have to push the car to its limits to get it to break loose some 215's. The z using only odd number gears will still outpreform the frz.

I do agree with the STI version, but that again would be dependt on price. If it is anywhere near the same price as a regular STI, and I was looking for a boosted RWD sports car that is priced similar whether it is new or not I might have to lean towards the Z4 sdrive35i or the 135i m. But looks might steer me towards the STI version out the box though and the fact I can only imagine the aftermarket parts that will flood the market. But then again a 135i m with a JB4 tune is hard to beat both looks and performance.
