I remember after a football game one fall, my friend (Best Man at my wedding) and I were pretty wasted and ended up wandering towards the Capitol grounds pretty wasted. We started climbing the dangerously pointed fence we encountered, and soon a police office came over after and asked wtf we were doing. We told him honestly that we were trying to get onto the Capitol grounds, and he told us the grounds were open to the public and pointed to a gate about 100 feet away. Then he said, "but you boys really ought to be getting home". We happily obliged
