Windshields on all the japanese cars I have owned (all 2, lol). My G20 would crack the windshield with the heater on a cold day. Did it twice. This car has pecks all over the windshield and none of my other cars ever had that issue. This is literally the only windshield I have ever replaced, and I have taken tons of rock hits in other cars. The tires, well, most companies use bad tires, I give you that. The power-steering sounding like an old Monte Carlo with no fluid in it? That's just crappy. The transmission that shifts slick as snot one day and clunks and nibbles the next? Meh. The glitchy NAV system that sometimes goes black after you get done with being in reverse/back up cam? Meh. The horrible weight distribution in a sports car? Huge downer. The mustang is better balanced, lol. I dunno, I just have a whole laundry list of "Why?!" things with this car. Oh, the 22-23mpg I get on the freeway, that sucks too for only 300rwhp. Fail.
Good side?
Interior is pretty, seats rock! Engine tone is very pleasing for a V6, critics be damned, body is sexiest thing this side of $60K (to me), and the lay-out looks very nice and things fall easily to hand in the cockpit.
It's not all bad, but I won't be buying another Nissan product. I have no love for it, to me, it's just a car at this point---certainly far from a passion, although I felt passion this morning...
Next on the list is something from Germany. I have not owned a German car, and being German, I owe it to myself to experience it for better or worse. I'm going to keep this one a while, though. Like I said, I don't dislike it enough to over-rule the good points and I need to actually keep a car for a few years for once.
