I lost the case! I showed the judge the distance from point A to point B is 526ft and that it would be impossible to reach 60 mph and break in time to make the turn. I used the equation (acceleration = distance/time). I provided the map just as a reference for the distance, provided the givens, equations, and proof. The officer said, yeah your math is probably right, but you were going over 80mph. Couldn't even get his story straight. The judges response was, Okay look at the map, the cars are like tiny ants, so this is about 4 inches apart, so yeah it is possible to go over 60mph. She couldn't even read the map, had it upside down and couldn't figure out how the scale works.
It was CHP day, 15+ chp officers showed up that day. Man...I am pretty speechless on our system.
