The MAF GT allows for a lot more fine-tuning.

I'm 99% sure that the GTM MAF is nothing more than a rebranded Uprev MAF GT. Just like their "GTM spec ecu reflash".... its just an Uprev reflash that GTM calls their own, and they sell enough of it that Uprev lets them.

In the rom editor there is an option to select either stock MAF, Uprev MAF GT, or HPX PMAS, and it is all precalibrated. Nothing for the GTM MAF, but then again if its really an uprev maf without the label on it then you would just select MAF GT.

There was a bad batch of MAF GT's last summer that were failing, but to the best of my knowledge that was straightened out and I haven't heard of any failing recently. Anyways if they do fail uprev will warranty them pretty easily.
Man, thanks for the input, that clears up all the questions I had. That bad batch may have been what I was reading about.

Just so you know, our MAF sensors are manufactured by the same company that manufactures the UpRev MAF...the difference is that our sensors are calibrated to our specifications. Also, unlike the UpRev MAF GT, we have two different MAF sensor calibrations: one that reads 190% more airflow and one that reads 220% more airflow than the stock sensors. We developed the 1000HP MAF specifically for the VQ35DE engine and extreme power VQ35HR's and VQ37VHR's.

Ultimately, our MAF sensors are much easier to tune with than the HPX sensors. While the HPX PMAS is a great sensor, you really have to know what you are doing to make good use of it, otherwise you can easily end up chasing your tail trying to get it dialed in.

In regards to our GTM Spec ECU Flash, it is our own calibration file that we developed. Yes, it uses UpRev tuning software, but it is our tune and our intellectual property. So we have every right to call our tune our GTM Spec ECU Flash.
Good to know, the info on the GTM MAF's. Thank you for the info .
