I bought my car around the same time as you. My car is a weekend driver and only comes out on Saturdays. I don't see many around the city either, although I spotted one last night. It's probably your location/timing is just off.
I'll be out and about until the first snowfall. Once that happens, it'll be garaged until Spring time.
