Bad tires (for example, harder rubber compound) would expain almost every deficit on the NISMO. Slighly lower acceleration due to bad hookup at launch but good trap speeds, poor skidpad and slalom numbers, etc. If that turns out to be the case, Nissan really dropped the ball and damaged the car's rep over a small and easy to fix issue.
