With more torque and AWD of the STi, I use it almost daily and the Z doesn't get out of my garage more than once a week. But when I do drive the Z, it's great to enjoy the qualities of a true sports car.
The STi has a sub-par interior, sucky steering, wimpy clutch feel, and miscellaneous design flaws.

I'd say the two cars you have represent the best Japan has to offer, but in two different forms. Subaru's high-performance Utility and Nissan's gorgeous design and powerful drive-train.
