I bough them because I though they looked nice with the Chromium Black finish but they're cheap enough that I wouldn't cry should they get destroyed by the PA winters. I originally was going to buy a set of MB Battles but I just couldn't pass up the deal on the XXR's.

As for tires I bought a set of Dunlop Winter Sport SP's. They don't come in 225's so I went one step up to 235/45R18's. Should keep my speedometer accurate to within a few percent and still reasonably cut through the snow. I don't expect to be trying to negotiate any blizzards in the Z this year.
