While all great advice, I can assure you that you DO NOT need an oil cooler. The brake upgrade should be further up the wish list.

Why no oil cooler? Two things:

1. You have an automatic;
2. Your driving style and environment - you don't track your car.

I regularly cruise (sometimes "intensely") with a group of cars (who you all know ms. pint) made up of 6-spd manuals with and without oil coolers. I regularly run 20 degrees cooler than the manual guys. It's got to be the auto transmission.

Additionally, with an oil cooler, the car takes longer to warm up when it is cool outside.

Oil coolers are a must for guys who track their cars; I'm not disputing that, nor do I think oil coolers are extravagent add-ons. All I'm saying is that ms. pint's driving style is more like mine and spending money on an oil cooler should be way down the wish list.

That all being said, the brake upgrade would be a little further down the wish list too. From everything you have posted, it's clear you want a nice set of rims. THAT would be my target for now if I were you. Spending money on anything else just pushes that goal further into the future.

Sermon over. You're a big girl and it's your money. Just passing along my two cents worth ( if that much) of advice.
