I personally would not recommend lowering clutch engagement for these cars. This might prevent the slave cylinder from fully extending and disengaging the clutch, so you might end up with clunky shifting effort.

You'll just have to get used to it and change your style. I dealt with this from an '03 350Z, but realize it's a bit easier to modulate this way especially after dealing with so much issues with engagement.

There's also an RFP clutch assembly that changes the mechanics of clutch pedal engagement.
