That will kill power to the sensor, which _should_ kill communication to the ABS unit - but I haven't tried it and haven't heard of anyone else trying it.

Since the Steering Angle sensor is in the steering wheel/column, you shouldn't have to worry about the green wire supplying power to it, but you never know until you try. If there is another wire at the same pin on the connector as the green wire, you _may_ have to move that other wire to the hot side of the switch in order to keep the Steering Angle sensor powered.
