So it IS written in stone that you can/should get a loaner/rental (at least if you own a 370Z, Maxima, GTR, not sure if Nissan's warranty is the same for all their cars)
As redline said, their loaners are always used and reserved a week in advance, so all you need to do is call your dealer in advance, and just ask.
So sounds like it's Nissan's policy. For people who hasn't already known this should try to ask your service adviser for a free loaner next time you bring in your car for extended time of work. Thanks for the info DEpointfive0.
