Doing it on the car. Pretty happy with the results but still there are a few jagged edges to fix. As I suspected, I should have run an exacto knife along the taped edge before pulling the tape up.

The fix will be to let the dip dry for a few days and then lay down a few layers of tape just inside the edge and then cut a clean edge. That isn't any big deal.

Overall, it was easy, and nothing to be afraid of, you just have to finish the edges. I'll post some pictures in a bit.
