Not sure who's more intelligent, but here's what I know. The car doesn't measure
volumetric air flow, but
mass air flow. Pressure is not an important parameter for MAF meters. The car should adjust to any increase in pressure (within reason) - it will recognize an increase in mass flow and back off on the throttle (or add more gas). Plus, you have the O2 sensor to provide feedback.
