In my opinion the 85 is a bit too short. I prefer the 135f2.0 as it gives a more flattering portrait and more room to light.

I'm a prime guy. 1Dx, 5DIII, 14f2.8, 24f1.4, 50f1.0, 85f1.2, 100f2.8(m), 135f2, 180f3.5(m), 200f2, 300f2.8, 400f2.8, 400DO, 600f4, 17, 24, 45 and 90tse and the fabulous and only zoom 8-15 fish zoom.

Gitzo 3 series CF tripod w/ Giotto ball head, Elinchrome portable lighting, Elinchrome and Profoto studio lighting, Eizo monitor and a killer mac pro for editing.

Canon C300/C500/1DC for video (working for Canon has its advantages)
