I'm not interested in your money. I'm interested in making sure this doesn't happen again where you coordinate a sale and shirk the responsibility.
I'll give the the benefit of the doubt because weird stuff can potentially happen when losing the large pm box, but I want a couple of things:
an acknowledgement from either you or your dad that you two, collectively, dropped the ball on this transaction. I was shipped damaged parts that cost me real money to fix / replace, and your story is "I didn't ship it." I think if you put yourself in my shoes you'll see I'm being completely reasonable. I'm not "dragging your name through the mud," I got screwed and I want resolution.
If you refuse to acknowledge that you did anything wrong, then I would like you to commit to not selling anything you don't own on this forum to make sure this doesn't happen again. This may be moot because it sounds like ak is hopefully going to ban those types of transactions based on how you've handled this, but in looking out for the forum, i would like that commitment from you.
The thing is, I don't buy **** from random guys on the Internet. I bought from you because you were a well known forum member that I would have expected to stand behind what was being sold. IMO, you shouldn't be coordinating sales for things you can't stand behind.
Next point, I've thought about it and I don't want your money. [numbers redacted]
I'll wipe out the thread and provide cliff notes on what happened, provided you are willing to publicly man up to what happened. Don't sell anything for your dad on the forum in the future unless he learns to pack stuff, and please don't misrepresent condition (the exhaust was not "recently polished", etc...you can look at the pictures and see for yourself. Deal?
