Exactly this. Putting your car on a jack stand for an extended period will damage your suspensions. Especially for those who changed into aftermarket springs/coilovers.
Simply inflate your tires to 40-ish, and check the inflation once a while (I do it once a month), and will keep flat spots to a minimum.
Even if there were minor flat spots on your tires after winter, take it out for a spin on a highway when spring/summer returns, and they'll go away.
Been doing this for the past few years without a problem.
Also recommended is either disconnect your battery, or connect your battery with a battery tender device (Such as those made by CTEK)
