Excellent review. I've had my base w/sports package 370z for about 3 days. I agree with everything you have said. I had a new 2003 base 350z for about 3 years back in the day. I'm not sure why the peddle change but I miss the old peddle. It was way more responsive. This new peddle also feels like I am playing a racing arcade game. But now that I think about that, I kind of like that. While were at it, bring back the old glove box also, but keep the new little bitty one up front. As for handling, I was always impressed with the 350z's cornering, but it can't touch how the 370z corners. It is really amazing. I can't believe how much grip this car has. Oh one personal gripe, the center console "open" button; my elbow just happens to sit right there when I am resting my hand on the gear shift. Thing is always opening up on me. I am trying to readjust where or how I rest it. As for the brakes, already had to get on them to avoid an accident (got cut off) and I stopped on a dime. Zero brake fade. Zero car tilt. Easily controlled. I think the seatbelt even locked me in. For what its worth the car seems well made and should do well and be fun at the track.
