I originally cared about the seat bolsters a lot, I would get in like a moron to prevent the leather from getting ruined... BUT I found a local (not anymore) upholsterer who installed the leather in my previos car who said that they change the bolsters out all the time on cars than they are the #1 thing they do...
They showed me examples of some of the cars they they were doing it to at the shop, and I could ONLY tell they had been replaced because they looked better that mine...
And they quoted me like $100-150 to replace the arse one and like $150-200 to do the backrest one... (This includes the rebuild up of foam and they said they could redo the whole seat in memory foam for no additional price) They also said they'd charge me less because I'm a return customer, and if I came in on a Tuesday when business was slow, they'd charge even less...
And for that price, I'll let my fat arse destroy the current ones, and if I ever NEED them replaced or if I ever sell the car, I'll have them replaced... Not worth the time and worry to keep putting leather crap on all the time

But leather conditioner DOES work if you're against replacing the bolsters... +1 for Lexol (brown bottle is the one you want for leather I think... but OP said he has cloth, sooooo... replacement, or find a shop to rebuild the bolster with foam)
